This past weekend, spring temps. Today, freezing weather and sleet. Tomorrow, probably a runny nose and sore throat! Lol
Breakfast was 2 Lite waffles with 17 grams chunky peanut butter and 1/8 cup Lite syrup. I also had some strawberries and 2 slices of turkey bacon.
10 points+.
Lunch was 2 oz of ham rolled up, a Laughing Cow Lite wedge, jicama chunks, bell pepper slices, and 28 grams of Wheat Thins crackers.
6 points+.
Afternoon snack started out as just a banana (nevermind the monkey).
0 points+.
Then, as I was getting the kids their snack, this stuff that I bought was staring me in the face. Had I realized its points value, I wouldn't have purchased it. I had one pack. There are 5 left. Hopefully the kids will eat them up! Lol. I enjoyed it, though! I just really do NOT see it keeping it full as a breakfast meal. If it were lower in points, I would buy it frequently as a snack.
6 points+.
Supper was just plain good tonight. I planned on cutting my meatball serving in half to make up for my high-points snack earlier, but when I tasted the meatball I just couldn't skimp out on them. Ha! I had about 3/4 of a baked spaghetti squash topped with sauteed bell peppers, 1/2 cup of Hunt's pasta sauce, 6 Armour turkey meatballs, and 28 grams RF shredded cheeses. I thoroughly enjoyed one of my beloved Cole's garlic cheesesticks, too!
13 points+.
Right before blogging, I wanted something sweet. I have had WW ice cream bars in the house since last Thursday, but I have been able to not touch them. Since it was lower in points, I chose a Fun Size M&Ms pack. It's the last one in the house. Boo... but in a good way. Lol
In a nutshell: I had 37 points+ today, only 4 points+ over my target. I'll take it! Tomorrow is my last day of points before things reset Wednesday. I'm glad of that, but I've done good this past week. I have to have my kittens at the vet tomorrow between 8:00 and 8:30 am to be spayed and neutered. Ugh. Of all things it would fall on the one day a month when my husband can't do it for me! :( It is really cold here for TN right now, and I'll have to get all the kids up, ready, dressed, etc. by 8:00. Goodness. I mean, I homeschool people. We don't do this. LOL So this is depressing to me. Haha. It's only 10:00 pm, and lunches for tomorrow are already packed. Funny - the husband told me to go ahead and pack his and he wouldn't eat with his co-workers tomorrow. Then he saw that we were having pretzels and carrot chips and said he thought he would go ahead and eat with his friends after all. hahaha Hope to see y'all tomorrow! :)
Your husband is too funny!!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with tomorrow morning. Oh well at least it will only have to be done once :)
You are going to have an excellent week I just know it!
Your dinner looks so good. I have never tried spaghetti squash but think I should soon. It seems colder in Seattle to me right now. I could use some warmer temps. Have a great week.
ReplyDeleteMy week starts over tomorrow too. Whew... Just have to get through today without going over points!

ReplyDeleteI can't tell you how happy I am for you. You turned it around and have stayed on track through a lot of challenges. I am so encouraged every time I come to your blog. I love it that you eat real food and even have a treat or two thrown in. This is the path to sustainable weight loss. You'll get to your goal weight and have the tools to stay there. Maintenance will be a breeze for you because of the lessons you learned on the way down. GOOD FOR YOU!!
