No food pics today. Took a pic of breakfast and then forgot my camera at home, same as last Saturday! Good day - just take my word for it. ;)
I slept in way late today. Felt so good after getting up on schedule all week and not getting in bed until 2:00 am last night!
Weighed in this morning and logged that on my page. I was very happy with the number that I got. I mean, it could've been a much prettier number (like 165), but for what it is it's pretty! Lol At least it's going in the right direction now!
Had a weird breakfast of leftover chicken chili, shredded cheese, and Doritos. For lunch, we went to the Perfect Pig with a friend. It was her first time going, and it's always fun explaining the entire menu and then finding out they are sold out of what you were bragging on. LOL
I ate plenty, but I didn't stuff myself at all. I had a plan when I got there, but since they were sold out of 2 staples in my plan, I just did the best I could considering. I figured up all the points for it, estimated on what I did not know, and for a Saturday splurge it wasn't all that bad. Yay!
I went to Walmart and Kroger tonight. I could tell I was starting to get hungry while leaving Walmart, so I grabbed a Jack's Links Beef Steak. They are only 1 points+ for the pack I got. I figured a little protein would do me some good. Then I had a Cadbury egg upon leaving Kroger.
Speaking of leaving Kroger... I am really losing my mind. I went through self checkout. I paid, grabbed my receipt and print-out coupons. I pushed the buggy all the way to the van. I unlocked the van. I lifted the back hatch of the van. I looked down in the buggy AND IT WAS EMPTY! Lol Omword. This is getting bad. So I shut the hatch, relocked the van, walked back in and told the self checkout guy, "This would probably work better if I actually TOOK my groceries with me." Sheesh! :)
Now it's 10 pm and I'm going to prep for tomorrow.

ReplyDeleteI left my purse in a grocery cart once outside and luckily someone found it who was honest. I got a phone call that said my purse was waiting at customer service. Everything that was suppose to be in it was in it. Thank God for good people.
ReplyDeleteI just found your blog and am your newest follower. I once pushed a grocery cart to the other side of the store before I realized it wasn't me. So don't feel bad, it happens to all of us!
ReplyDeleteOnce I left a bag at the checkout counter at the grocery store. It wasn't the self checkout either. I was home and putting away my purchases when I realized some items were missing. When I called to check on it, they found it because the clerk had taken a break right after me, otherwise someone else might have taken my bag home.
ReplyDeleteThe store manager was so upset she offered to bring it to me! I picked it up and she gave me a $25 gift card for my trouble. Even with that, I am always very careful now to make sure all of my bags are with me when I leave.
