Fumble, Replay

Hello, everyone!  I was still sick yesterday.  I woke up feeling a lot better as far as my throat was concerned.  As the day wore on, my sinuses got super clogged and I just felt very blah.

I totally dropped the ball of health yesterday.  I started off by missing breakfast because I had to take our kitty to the vet, which was unplanned and put me in a rush with the appointment time.  On the way back home, I got Subway for brunch - trying to be good.  Bonus free cookie for President's Day.  Really???  I resisted for about an hour and then ate it.

I didn't need lunch because I had brunch.  Around 4 pm, I ended up eating Lucky Charms for lupper... 3 bowls of it.  Ugh.

I was craving carbs all day.  I talked the husband into bringing home a Pot Roast Tater from The Tater Shack for supper.  That is a huge amount of points gone.  I felt so sorry for myself, that I sent him to the gas station for Chocolate Extreme Moose Tracks after my tater!

I knew how horrible I had done.  That's the worst I've done in nearly a month now!  I decided to forget blogging, forget things needing to be done around the house, forget packing lunches, and just GO TO BED before I did more damage.

I was sound asleep by 10:00 pm.  That is super strange for me.  I was out so fast!  I got up around 4:45 am to use the restroom and then was right back out.  I thought for sure I'd have no problem getting up at 7:00 this morning, but alas I slept through the alarm and got up at just shy of 8:00 am.  Wowza.

Even though my day was now thrown off track, and I still feel stuffy, I went ahead and did a mile walk.  I chose my very easiest 1-mile video since I'm not feeling top notch, but I *did* get in some exercise.  I feel like that will help shape my day today.

I will do pictures today and a post tonight for accountability.  Just wanted to pop in and tattle tell on myself.  :-D

Oh, kitty got eye drops and an antibiotic to make him all better.  He will be fine now.  Whew.  And I have to share this funny pic I found the other day.  ROFL
So true!

  2. Concentrate on feeling better, and know that part of getting better is good nutrition. Don't beat yourself up over what happened yesterday, or this morning, or five minutes ago. Start fresh now. You've got this.

    1. Well at least you don't gain weight from your hubby being strong. I think mine knows I may club him if he resists. LOL
