Great Day

I am just gonna be fast because it's 11:00 pm and I just got in the door from grocery shopping.  I couldn't go Saturday because we have a full day planned.  I made it through my challenge of eating at home for every meal this week!  Yay!  Tomorrow, breakfast and lunch will be at home, but supper will have to be while we are away from home.  I'm completely fine with that.

I did a 1-mile walk this morning.

Breakfast was simple.  I had an Oikos Greek yogurt, 2 turkey links, and some blueberries.  I was all disappointed because this honey flavor is all the store had left last week.  I LOVED IT!  It is my favorite flavor by far.

I did get hungry before lunch, but I realized I only had to wait 45 minutes.  I held out.  It didn't even kill me!  Lol  Lunch was 3 oz of Tyson Grilled n Ready meats, a WW string cheese, cucumber chunks, an apple, and 28 grams of Wheat Thins crackers.

After lunch, I had 2 more of my Palmar mints.

An afternoon snack was a banana.

Supper was one of our faves - chicken upsidedown.  Yes, the portion is huge.  I rarely make this any more, I love it, and I'm gonna have a big 'ole helping of it!  LOL  I also made mashed potatoes and green beans with olive oil.

After supper, I went to Walmart and Kroger.  Even though I had points left, I steered clear of all the candy bars and treats.  Yay for me!  So it is 11:07 pm and I still have 2 points+ left for the day, 34 weekly allowance points, and 6 APs.  That's gotta be a record for me!

In a nutshell:  Super happy with today.  Got to enjoy a great supper, some mints, had plenty of fruits and veggies, got in 80 oz of water, did a 1-mile walk this morning, feel satisfied, and STILL have points left.  Tomorrow is weigh-in and I feel fine about it.  Enjoy your weekend!

  1. Way to go Staci! My husband and I are trying to only eat at home from Friday through Monday. We've made it through the first day which is huge. We've tried this before only to give the first day. You rock by doing it a whole week! What is chicken upside down?

    Have a great weekend.

    1. You can do it! Even if you don't fully succeed this time around, just try again next week. You made it through one day this week. Maybe you will make it through two days next week! :) That recipe is posted under the recipe tabs already. Delish!
